Jain Akshara
Aromatic plants have played a vital role in the lives of ancient ethnic groups living in the Himalayas, providing them with both food and medicinal elements. This study presents a list of medicinal aromatic plants from the Indian Himalayas, Nepal and Bhutan, focusing on plant species for which volatile effects have been described. The study includes 116 aromatic plant species distributed in 26 families.
