Previously, transformation used to take place only in unicellular organisms, but nowadays transformation also occurs in multicellular organisms. Many multicellular organisms have undergone successful transformation, such as drosophila, mice, etc. The most common methods of genetic transformation are the plasmid method [1], the vector method, and the gene gun method. The vector method and the plasmid method have many similarities; the vector method is widely used, as is the plasmid method.
