Identification of Michelson's Errors in his 1881/87 Experiments and their re-analysis

Ioan Has

ï»¿ The Michelson-Morley experiment was an attempt to detect the   existence of the luminiferous aether, a supposed medium permeating space that was thought to be the carrier of light waves. This research paper fouses in pointing out all those errors committed by Michelson which were peformed in his experiments during 1881/87. In his experiment performed named result of the two swimmers contest, he committed error which represented contest between two Swimmers (SW) which remained unfaithfull towards any physical model and showed the evidence of negative result. The reason Michelson and Morley did not found any significant difference between speed of light in the direction of movement through the presumed aether, and the speed at right angles because they assumed that the transverse path of SW2 is an isosceles triangle, and thus calculated the wrong result, t2<t1.
