Microfluidics is an emerging technique used for fluid analysis and microscale applications in DNA sequencing, cell separation, chemical binding, immunoassays, particle tracking, opto-fluidics, protein crystallization, micro-droplet analysis, etc. The parameters of the flow of microfluids in a channel may depend upon the shape, size, material, and orientation of the channel. Elevated orientations may also affect the flow rate of the fluid in the given micro channel due to gravity. The objective of this paper is to investigate the effect of gravity on microfluidic flow. Three different microfluids were taken. The microchannels were fabricated on a PCB substrate using screen printing and etching. The investigations were carried out using different angles of elevations of the microchannels. The analysis of the results showed that the flow of the microfluid is angle and material dependent.
